Gleaning by the stream
The wind beckons us to be free.
Reminding us of our rigidity in life.
If we are too stiff we either are unaffected by the wind and thus stagnant.
Or, we break from its force.
The tall grass by the stream taught me in the early hours of the morning to be more accepting of the wind as it blows.
For it is an inevitability of life.
If we bend and dance with the wind and not make it our enemy it can teach us things about ourselves that we might not have known.
Or perhaps had just forgotten.
