Masters

After a beautiful weekend in the desert I returned home to a package. The masters had made their journey from sunny California to my door. I am putting the record up for preorder digitally as I am still unsure about how I am pressing the physical part of this record. Soon to come vinyl and some sort of other format. I'm thinking that CDs have gone the way of the dodo. So not looking to go that route. Perhaps just a letterpressed download card. What do you guys think?

Strings

As the summer come to a close with the magnificent smell of fall in the air I realized I haven't given any updates on the record progress. I am flying to San Francisco to finish the strings on the 17th of November. Very excited as the arrangements have turned out beautifully. Mike Sempert is a very talented man.

Calexico

Thank you everyone who made it out. What an amazing evening. Tonight was magic. Backed up by such lovely and talented musicians. A big thanks to them. The vibe was great.

Calexico is such a remarkable live band. Such remarkable people as well. Just a crazy beautiful night.

Drums

Pat Campbell came in and played some lovely drum tracks. The drums are all finished up now and sound great. Getting more excited daily. Ryan Tanner comes in tonight to lay down keys/vocals. Going to be lovely.

Hibernating

I've been working on new songs slowly. I can't wait to start the record. I am ready to make these songs tangible and move on. Ever since I left Band Of Annuals I have been very quiet. The songs don't seem to come as easy as they once did. Be that as it may. I am very proud of this body of work. I can't wait to share it with all of you. There are a lot of exciting possibilities on the horizon. Thank you all for your love and support in my absence. For pushing me when I need pushing. And, sharing your stories with me. Thank you.
